"My Roots" features several of the first films I ever created. Most of these were completed and entered into my university's annual film festival. I believe it is important to never forget where you came from and it is also very interesting and fun to look back and see how far I have come.

Nerf Wars 3: A Revolutionary Mockumentary - Editor/Actor
ACU Film Fest 2014: 48 Hour Finalist The final part in the Nerf Wars trilogy. Three filmmakers once again struggle to find a cohesive team structure. When enough is enough, one filmmaker cannot contain is frustration and chaos breaks loose. I was primarily the editor on this project, however I also camera-op'd for a few scenes and acted in the piece. The entire project was completed in 48 hours. |

Nerf Wars: A Mockumentary - Editor/Actor
Winner for Best Comedy: ACU Film Fest 2013 This was a project I worked on with 3 of friends in my Sophomore year of College, for ACU’s annual film festival. I was the editor of the project. At the time, I was editing on Final Cut Express... I have come along way from this one. We had an absolute blast making this film-within-a-film comedy. I have learned a lot since the making of this project, but it still is one of my favorite projects to watch again and again. |

Dreamer - Director/DP/Editor
Won Best Lead Actor: ACU Film Fest 2014 Chase Freeman, a high school senior, is called in to his high school guidance counselors office to have a discussion about Chase’s future. Chase has to decide whether to be bold and follow his dream, or to give in to the way the world works. I was the Director and Editor of this project, and I worked along side my long time friend Stephen Estrada, who wrote and produced the film. Our lead actor, Will McInerney, won best actor for his performance! This was my first short film in which I directed. I learned a lot and directing the film was an amazing experience. |
